Special Guest: State Senator Russell Pearce -- Chief Sponsor of SB 1070 (Immigration Law)
The Maricopa Republican Club will host its July meeting at the Village’s Club House (20991 N. Butterfield Pkwy) on Thursday,
July 22nd at 7:00 P.M.
Special guest speakers this month will be State Senator Russell Pearce and Barbara Leff. State Senator Pearce was the chief sponsor for State Senate bill 1070. Senator Pearce will be bringing us up to date on issues at the state senate and will be discussing SB 1070. SB 1070 is scheduled to take effect on July 29, 2010 Along with Senator Pearce, Barbara Leff, candidate for State Treasurer, will be talking about her campaign and her vision for the State Treasurer’s office.
Join the Maricopa Republicans for what is surelto be a very informative evening.
Membership in the Maricopa Republican Club covers the calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Dues for 2010 are $15 per person or $25 per couple. When your dues are paid, you will receive an official membership badge at the next month’s meeting.
You are encouraged to bring canned food items whichare collected at each meeting and then donated to the local F.O.R. Maricopa Food Bank.
