Pinal Power, LLC to construct green waste electric generation facility in the City of Maricopa.

Maricopa, Ariz. (August 31, 2010) - Maricopa will soon be home to an additional and regionally significant clean-and-green industrial development. Pinal Power, LLC has announced its plans to construct a facility that will generate 30 megawatts of electric power fueled entirely by landscape and agricultural waste. The facility will be located along the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway adjacent and to the west of the existing Pinal Energy Ethanol Plant, Arizona’s first ethanol plant, in an area designated for industrial development and employment per the City’s General Plan.
